As we all know, it is normal for felines to have four limbs, but sometimes genetics play their part. This is what happened to Which one, a beautiful five-legged cat.

This young, furry tabby is, according to his caretakers, very affectionate, but cannot lead an ordinary life because of that extra leg. We tell you their story.

Quin is a cat that was taken off the streets of Rotterdam, Holland and taken to the city's animal shelter. The vet who checked him discovered his extra leg, thus becoming the second five-legged feline on record (the previous one was seen in the United States according to Ineke Jochims, a veterinarian at the Rijnmond Stray Cat Foundation).

This little leg, however, is not such since it does not have claws, but rather a hoof that causes a limp. But there is still more: according to biologist Kees Moeliker, this extra limb could have belonged to a Siamese twin that was not fully developed. Although it is rare, sometimes it happens that some other animal has, for example, an extra leg on its back, or that it has two heads instead of one.

Nonetheless, Who is a healthy cat who sadly lives in pain?. Both his caregivers and the veterinarian responsible for his case, Jochims, say that they will do everything possible to help him, since they also think that he could have been lost from home by being especially sociable and affectionate.

In fact, they hope to find their family, but if they are not lucky, they will find a home that they really love. Hopefully they can remove that paw too, so that it can be a completely happy cat.
